Atle Vidar Nagel Johansen
Chairman and Non-executive Director
Mr. Atle Vidar Nagel Johansen was elected as Chairman and Non- Executive Director of the Company in 2015. With close to four decades of experience in leadership roles in the FMCG sector, he has been associated with the Orkla Group, Norway, since 1993.
He has been a member of Orkla’s Corporate Executive Board from 2012 to 2024 and has held numerous leadership roles since beginning his career with Orkla in 1993. During the periods 2005-2018 and 2021-2022, Mr. Atle served as CEO of Orkla Foods business area, spanning across 15 markets in Europe as well as India. In 2019, Mr. Atle took on the role of CEO for the Orkla Care business area in parallel with the COO position. Orkla Care operates within Consumer Health, Home and Personal Care and Wound Care in many markets in Europe and Asia.
Mr. Atle has held positions as CFO for Orkla Foods and Orkla Snacks and has also headed Orkla’s Financial Planning and Analysis function. He was previously associated with Tandberg Data ASA, Jøtun Funds Ltd and Carl Klerulf & Co Ltd. He holds a degree in Financial Analyst Study Program from the Norwegian School of Economics.
He was on the Board of the Norwegian grocery supplier organization (DLF) from 2010 and also served as its Chairman during 2015-2016.
He is currently the Chairman on the Board of Anora Group PLC, Finland.
