Sanjay Sharma

Mr. Sanjay Sharma has been associated with the Company as the Director and Chief Executive Officer since 2009. In 2025, he was appointed as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer on our Board. Over his 16-year leadership journey, the Company has grown to become a publicly listed entity valued at close to INR 100 billion. He also played a pivotal role in expanding Orkla’s presence in India through the acquisition of Eastern in 2021.

Mr. Sanjay brings over three decades of rich experience in the food industry. In his earlier stints, he worked with marquee companies like Voltas, Colgate-Palmolive India and Dabur Foods Ltd. At Dabur, he played a pivotal leadership role in developing its food business, including brands such as Real Fruit Juices and Homemade Cooking Paste.

Mr. Sanjay started his career with Voltas Limited in 1990 and has close to four decades of extensive experience in the consumer products sector, with a strong emphasis on marketing, strategy, growth and execution. He has previously been associated with the IFFCO group, Dabur India Limited, Colgate-Palmolive (India) Limited, Hindustan Ciba-Geigy Limited, Voltas Foods and Beverages Limited and Voltas Limited.

Mr. Sanjay has been sharing his valuable insights and perspectives on various aspects related to the food industry. He is a member of the National Food Processing Committee for FICCI and CII and has also chaired the FICCI Food Processing Committee in the past.

He successfully led the Company’s listing on the National Stock Exchange and the Bombay Stock Exchange on November 06, 2025.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science from the University of Bombay and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Pune.
